The Problem
Music industry contracts are lengthy, highly variable, and filled with complex legal language.
Legal and business teams spend significant time manually reviewing agreements to extract information such as royalties, territories, payment terms, exclusivity, and contract dates. This process is slow, difficult to scale, and prone to human error, making it challenging to maintain accurate CRM records across large catalogs.
Our Solution
We developed an end-to-end document intelligence pipeline that reads contracts, extracts key business terms, and automatically transforms them into structured CRM records.
How it works
Documents are ingested from PDF, DOCX, and scanned files.
OCR and preprocessing normalize the content for analysis.
Long contracts are divided into semantic sections while preserving context.
AI identifies and extracts key data points including parties, effective and termination dates, royalty percentages, payment terms, territory, exclusivity, license scope, and deliverables.
A concise executive summary is generated with citations to the original contract.
Extracted data is mapped to the CRM schema and synchronised automatically.
Every extracted value remains traceable back to the original contract for human verification and compliance.
Outcome
Automated contract analysis that converts complex music agreements into structured CRM records, reducing manual review time while improving accuracy, consistency, and auditability.
